Unpaid Wages
Under California law, employees in California have a right to meal and rest breaks, overtime pay, minimum wages, reimbursements for reasonable business expenses, and more.
Overtime Pay
Employees in California who work more than 40 hours a week must be compensated overtime pay. While there are exceptions to this rule, an experienced employment law attorney can review your case to determine if you are owed overtime pay for your hours worked.

Meal and Rest Breaks
Under California law, if you work more than three and half hours in a day you are entitled to rest breaks. The rest break should be no less than ten minutes. If you work five hours or more in a day, you are entitled to a meal break, which should be no less than 30 minutes. If your employer fails to allow you adequate breaks, you may be entitled to compensation for your damages.
